John Fischer

Hello, my name is John Fischer and I'm the principal and project manager of WebCo. I have over 12 years of experience working with creating websites and project management. I also have a strong IT background which compliments the various technical layers required in producing sophisticated web development projects.

I began working for WebCo back in Fall 2002. Since then, I have helped hundreds of clients with various projects and services. My experience is my greatest asset as I have witnessed first hand the evolution of the web since my early days connecting to the Internet on a 14.4 modem to chat on bulletin boards. As the technology and platforms have changed, I have embraced these changes by integrating them into our client's projects. Guided along with a strong global developer community in which we are active with, I feel our strength comes from our unwillingness to say "Can't be done" and our willingness to adapt to the latest trends of internet and information technology.

In September of 2009, I formally purchased the company and serve WebCo doing sales, managing projects, and developing websites. I am looking forward to working directly with my clients to grow their organization or business using the latest techniques we have to offer.

I attended school at UWM and MATC, and have also accumulated professional IT certificates for MCP and A++ & Network++. But most of my education happens everyday, working on new projects that lend to even more proficiency.

I grew up in Whitewater, Wisconsin and have lived in Milwaukee for over 15 years.I live with my wife Tania and our two boys in the Riverwest neighborhood of Milwaukee. We have a dog named Charlie and two cats, Monkee and Mr.C. When I'm off-duty, I enjoy going on long walks and bike rides around Milwaukee's beautiful and vibrant East Side with my family. I also enjoy gardening, camping, vacations to new locations, and cooking vegetarian cuisine.
